CANDLE CARE, SAFETY & INSTRUCTIONS

At Lumiere & Luxe, we believe that luxury candles deserve thoughtful care. Following these guidelines helps ensure a clean, even burn and a safe, enjoyable experience.

FIRST BURN MATTERS

Allow your candle to burn long enough on the first use so the melted wax reaches the edge of the vessel. This helps prevent tunnelling and ensures an even burn for the life of your candle.

TRIM THE WICK

Always trim the wick to approximately 5mm before each burn. This reduces soot, prevents excessive flame height and promotes a clean, steady burn.

BURN SAFELY

Never leave a burning candle unattended. Always place your candle on a heat-resistant surface, away from drafts, flammable objects, children and pets.

BURN TIME

Do not burn your candle for longer than 3–4 hours at a time. Allow the wax to cool and solidify before relighting to protect the vessel and fragrance quality.

STOP USE WHEN LOW

Discontinue use when approximately 10mm of wax remains. Burning beyond this point may cause the vessel to overheat and increases the risk of damage or injury.

KEEP WAX CLEAN

Keep the wax pool free from wick trimmings, matches and debris. This helps maintain a clean flame and prevents flare-ups.

HANDLE WITH CARE

The vessel may become hot during use. Allow your candle to cool completely before moving or handling.

STORAGE

Store candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve fragrance and appearance.
